Thank you for visiting our physician search blog.  Our goal in starting this site is to share with physician candidates and professional physician recruiters our thoughts, experiences and insights into the always interesting world of physician search and consulting. Hopefully through our combined 28 years of recruiting we can impart some wisdom and maybe a bit of humor about the ”doc hunter” business and other related (and sometimes not so related) topics.

Subjects that will likely be addressed will include tips for physician candidates on how to find the right practice, how to interview, how long to wait for an offer, when to start looking for a practice, malpractice issues and many more.  For professional physician recruiters we plan to dissect complicated matters like Stark, physician to population requirements and compensation as well as more business-related issues like how to choose a search firm, which conferences to attend and which job boards are the most productive.
